Cache hits

This is a hourly buffer cache hits ratio. It is different from a cache hits ratio, displayed by the PerfMon – PerfMon displays a cumulative cache hits ratio from the moment when SQL server has been started.

Cache hits ratio is displayed on the logarithmic Y scale in 2 formats: percentage (90%, 99%, 99.9%...) and a corresponding ratio of the number of logical reads per physical read (the more the better, 90% - 10 logical reads per physical read, 99% - 100:1, 99.9% - 1000:1, etc).
