Once connected to the SQL Server, you must set the installation options by which Deadlock Detector will perform the monitoring. You can specify whether to monitor locks, deadlocks, or both. When choosing to monitor locks, you can specify a lock wait time threshold that triggers a lock event to be recorded. When choosing to monitor deadlocks, you can opt to monitor and record deadlock events for all databases on the server or only for selected databases. Click on Install to begin the installation.
